*Things are changing a little @ Luke's Legacy*
Direct Support for young people and families
This site will continue to work in the same way it always has supporting young people/families directly. If you have a young person/people you feel will benefit from Bereavement Support drop me a message and lets have a chat. If we feel its appropriate to move forward we can refer, arrange home visit, assess and plan the work. Anyone can refer young people, again just drop me a message and we can have a chat. You may just needs some advice on how to support your young people in which case I can signpost you to our new venture. I will always work at best practice and be honest whether I feel support is needed based on the information you give me. Families can either pay direct for this service or as a practitioner you can access funding on their behalf from places like Buttle Trust UK or from school's funding.

In the new year we are planning to open a Community Interest Company (CIC)
This will be completely separate to Luke's Legacy but run by myself and others. This company is going to be trying to access funding to support others to support each other around bereavement needs This will be for practitioners and families. We are just in the planning stages and have some exciting ideas .........as soon as we can share we will. So keep watching this space :) or subscribe and keep up to date.

About us
My name is Janet Vaile and the young man to my left is my gorgeous face 'Luke' He is the reason I am here today and why our site is called 'Luke's legacy' He was indeed my inspiration for my journey in bereavement support for families and children.
Luke died at the age of 4 1/2 years old and I will talk more about Luke in my blogs if you are interested.
My other gorgeous boy Bradley who is my world and the reason I carried on, moved forward with our life and at the age of 30 is now an amazing father himself to my first grandson Harry :) So very proud of him like you would not believe and yes I will talk about him too (much to his disgust I am sure.
